The win over Clemson came at a huge cost. Maryland’s All-ACC running back Da’Rel Scott broke his forearm and is done for the year.

Davin Meggett will now be the feature back. Freshman Gary Douglas, who played in multiple series yesterday, should get significant time. And I think Morgan Green is still alive.

Horned Frogs Escape Death Valley with Big W

Posted by KilgoreTroutIII

With QB Andy Dalton carrying the Horned Frogs on his shoulders, TCU’s 14th-ranked Horned Frogs went into Clemson’s famed Death Valley, fought the Tigers in a driving rain, and came out with a big 14-10 victory. Dalton was 17-26 passing for 226 yards and both TDs. He was also TCU’s leading rusher with 86 yards on 19 carries, a 4.5 yard average.

TCU is now 3-0 on the season and 3-0 against the oddsmakers’ spreads.
